I must say I am rather surprised. This place has not yet been totally infultrated by geeks... It has come to that time of the day when the day goes from sheer madness to very very quiet, so I have an hour to kill.

I dont know whether to be shocked or amused; looking through the community groups on vox relevant to my job, (IT Security) I get little to no group return back on "sensible" groups (off the top of my head) (security=1-non relevant, networks=0!!, cisco=0!!, checkpoint=0!! IDS=0) but its quite plain to see a ton of groups on sex, drugs and rock n roll.

Has anyone found any useful techy groups?

Doesn't look like the geeks will inherit the earth from your brief research, then.

But more than a few of them in 6 Apart, should think. This is a pretty nice web application, here. Daunting now for independants, I watched this happen in the game industry. Large teams needed to make these monumental works. Just glad a cool company has done it rather than the 'old aeon' usual suspects ;)

but isn't it nice that there is some place to hang out other than 127.0.0.1 where u dont have teh technology pinging u through,,,

definately there is no place like home ;) I do have an area of my house that tech is banned from. well that is the idea anyway ;)
