I might add its was £&@*@ freezing. This was one freak moment where the sun almost came out. The snow clouds won over in the end and completely covered the Ben and Surrounds with big black moody clouds. And LOTS of snow.

I got adopted by these two little children in a temple about an hour away from Pune in India. (Once I remember what it was called I will update.)

It seems they were fascinated by my very pale skin, (I guess they had never seen a scottish person before) and kept touching my arm or putting their hands on my arm to see the difference.

They were adorable, and wanted to be in all of my photos (or give me cuddles) - they wanted to see their pics in the preview each time I took one. Sadly I had just got the camera and didn't really know how to work it well enough to deal with the light conditions, so the pics were not as good as I would have hoped.

I would love to go back again some point soon. India is a fabulous place.

Oh the irony. Got new Reader yesterday, and an out of print book I have been looking for for years arrives on my desk this afternoon.

Is enjoying the Gartner Security conference

Looking to do a photography course for a week or so in December for birthday, can anyone recommend a decent one which is not extortionate?
